The short version
We want to know which parts of the site help people and which don't, and we want to follow up with people who ask us to build something. We don't sell your data. Anything beyond the bare minimum only happens if you say yes in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind any time.
What we collect
Always, even before you choose (strictly necessary). An anonymous count of which page was viewed, the website that sent you (just its domain), and the country your connection appears to come from. No cookies, no identifier, nothing that links one page view to another.
If you allow analytics. Our own first-party analytics (we call it Pulse) sets a random visitor ID cookie and a session cookie. It records the pages you view, where you came from (including campaign tags like utm_source and ad click IDs), how far you scroll, which links and buttons you click, how long you spend on each page, which sections you see, and how you move through our intake. It also notes your device type, browser, operating system, screen size, language and time zone. We also load Google Analytics.
Your IP address. With analytics on, our server uses your IP address at the moment of the request to estimate your city, region and country and, where the address belongs to a business network, which organisation it belongs to. We never store the IP address itself: we keep a one-way scrambled version (a salted hash) and a shortened form with the last part removed.
If you allow marketing. We load Google Ads, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight tags so we can show sprintrep ads to people who have visited, and measure whether those ads worked. These companies may combine this with what they already know about you under their own privacy policies.
What you tell us. If you use our intake at /start, we keep what you share: your answers, typed notes, voice memos and files, plus your name, email, company, website and mobile if you give them. If you have analytics on, we link your intake to your visitor ID so we can see how you found us.
Why
To understand what's working on the site, fix what isn't, see which campaigns bring the right people, prepare for conversations with businesses already looking at us, and build and deliver the system you asked for.
How long we keep it
Analytics data (Pulse events, sessions and visitor records) is kept for 13 months and then deleted. Visitor ID cookies expire 13 months after your last visit; session cookies after 30 minutes of inactivity; your cookie choice is remembered for 13 months.
What you share through the intake is kept while we're working with you, and deleted on request.
How to opt out
Use to switch analytics or marketing off at any time; we delete our visitor and session cookies straight away.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat that as "necessary only" and don't ask, unless you turn something on yourself.
You can also block or clear cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Who else is involved
Our hosting, database and file storage providers process data on our behalf. With your permission: Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta and LinkedIn. If we use an IP lookup provider to estimate location or identify business networks, it sees the IP address for that lookup only. We don't sell personal information.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email care@sprintrep.ai and we'll sort it out.
